In today’s world, there is a fine line between the art of "tagging" and vandalism. For some people, these two terms are synonymous. A reporter of Uzhgorod.in made a series of photos of Uzhgorod with "traces" of street artists who like to "decorate" every thing that can be drawn or written on.
Walking on the main streets alone, you can see many different kinds of tags, graffiti with markers (or paint) on the glass and shop doors, billboards, trash bins, benches and even on the government agencies buildings and architectural monuments.
Everyone sees and portrays art in their own way, but some people obviously do not think about consequences or their inability to create and heartlessly destroy property. Each of these "artists" have their own motivation, but the result unfortunately (in most cases) is the same. There are exceptions to the rule that help to perceive tasteless "works".
What is it: a protest against bad advertising or maybe it actually is advertising of someone’s creativity? Do we need to fight it or is such "wild" expression of art on the streets of Uzhgorod gives the city a breath of creative and free air?
