Tonight at the customs post "Chop-railway", they found on a citizen of Austria, who was going to Ukraine in the international passenger train, 150 pills of the drugs "Xanor". The Austrian did not list the medicines in the customs declaration and did not mention them during oral questioning.
"Xanor" contains the active ingredient "alprazolam", 0.5 mg in each pill. This ingredient is restricted for transporting across the state border, as it is a psychotropic substance.
At the moment of crossing the customs border of Ukraine, the Austrian citizen did not have any permits for transportation of the medicines.
These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations provided for in Article 472 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
