On May 14, 2014, inUzhgorod, there was the presentation of the educational campaign from the Committee of Voters of Ukraine and the Civic Network "OPORA" for voters in early presidential election in Ukraine scheduled for May 25, 2014.
The event was attended by about 30 representatives of civil organizations and media, representatives of informal associations, civil society activists and voters.
During the presentation, the participants were presented opportunities to raise awareness of voters about their voting rights, election procedures, mechanisms for implementation and protection of voting rights, as well as mechanisms and opportunities for voters to participate in the electoral process.
In particular, they covered the opportunities for voters to learn about their voting rights on educational webinars for voters, consultation through the "hot line" of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine, as well as on the site "Elections in Ukraine". They presented the site section "For voters", which provides guidance for voters to help them to vote in the election of the President of Ukraine and local elections, provides information on temporal change of voting place, updating of voters list, voting at home, voting procedure, secret ballot and so on.
It was also presented opportunities for voters to participate in the electoral process as a member of an election commission or observer, the opportunlity of online registration for volunteers in the pages of "For commission members" and "I am an observer!". They also presented the opportunities of the on-line election commission member training system "Vyborchkom" http://electioninfo.org.ua/, http://electioninfo.org.ua/.

Educational campaign is carried out as part of the project "Strengthening the capacity to conduct training in the electoral process and raising awareness of voters," implemented by the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine with the support of the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
