The festival of beauty and grace took place in the Regional Music and Drama Theater – they elected the most beautiful girl of Uzhgorod National University.
18 beauties from different departments of the university participated in the contest.
A friendly atmosphere of the event was felt from the first minute.
After the traditional greetings and announcements of sponsors, hosts introduced those who would determine the most beautiful girl in Uzhgorod National University in 2014. In particular, the jury included the vice-rector of UzhNU Oleksandr Slivka, Student Miss Transcarpathia 2013 Gabriella Hritsu, the Acting Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Shchadey and others. Special thanks for his help in preparing the competition were expressed to Fedir Shandor.
The theme of this year’s Miss UzhNU 2014 was the "History of Fashion". The first catwalk was devoted to the fashion of 1920s – "roaring", bright, life-affirming… 1930s – the years of the "Great Depression" and the time of "little black dress" – dominated in the second catwalk. In the third catwalk, the girls were dressed in the style of 1950s. And then the girls appeared on stage in the images of the coming times, demonstrating the fashion of the future. There were dresses made of foil, plastic trash bags, plastic, with fluorescent inclusions, with illumination, with intricate design, circuit boards, decorated with geometric shapes, patterns, colors and chess pieces. The last catwalk traditionally was in evening dresses (red carpet).
Also at the competition, they gave special prizes from sponsors.
Well, all the contests of the program are completed. Beauties in evening dresses are waiting on the stage, the hosts initially determined the winner of the title of "Miss People’s Choice Award." The choice was not easy, since each girl had loud support. However, the loudest applause was for Karina Manusevych of the Faculty of tourism and international communications.
And now, the hosts are opening the envelope with the results…
So, the titles of "Miss UzhNU 2014":
The Second Vice-Miss – Myroslava Mytrovka (Law Faculty), the First Vice-Miss – Kateryna Bovdi (Faculty of Social Sciences) and Miss UzhNU 2014 – Zoreslava Kucheryava (Faculty of European Law).The crown was handed to the winner by the last year’s winner of the title, Maria Vorobets.
Zoreslava is a nice and friendly girl, she is a freshman, plans to continue her education and dreams of becoming… a judge. To work transparently and to help establish justice.
So, congratulations to the winner, organizers and all involved in the making of the festival of beauty in UzhNU!
