Kolomoysky declared “repayment holiday” for Ukrainian soldiers

The PryvatBank cancels the accrual of interest on loans for borrowers mobilized to the ranks of the Ukrainian army.

The PryvatBank of the Dnipropetrovsk Governor Igor Kolomoysky decided to cancel the accrual of interest on loans for borrowers mobilized to the ranks of the Ukrainian army, the official website of the bank reported.

The report states that the interest accrual cancellation shall be applied for the period of military service for consumer loan and small business loan program clients and for users of credit limit on cards.

For the period of mobilization, the bank will not charge penalties for late repayment of loan under all types of loan programs.

"The Board decided to cancel the charging of interest on loans to all clients who in this difficult time for Ukraine are protecting its integrity and peaceful future. Interest on loans and penalties for late payments will not be accrued for all of our clients, who are drafted to the Ukrainian army, for the period of service," – the deputy chairman of the PryvatBank Oleg Horokhovsky said.

According to the bank, soldiers can take advantage of the repayment holiday by contacting any branch of the bank or the Service Centre of the bank. To prove the fact of military service, clients only need to send the bank a copy of the military card indicating the date of mobilization.
