On May 16, 2014 in Uzhgorod, in the puppet theater "Bavka" (Teatralna sq., 8), there will be the screening of short films from the competition program of the "FOOD FILM FESTIVAL", which took place in Kyiv on 24 – 25 of April.
Food is more than just hunger satisfaction, it is a whole culture, philosophy and art. That is why in Europe and in the U.S. there is a tradition of holding such festivals.
Entries are divided into categories:
Food & People – relationship between people and food.
Cook Book – this category includes films-recipes.
Tastes like Animal – this category includes works on topics: tolerance to animal, conscious nutrition and others.
Food Porn – this term originally referred to fabulous often promotional images of food, presenting food as the greatest pleasure. However, the organizers give this phrase a different meaning…
Food Ad – compilation of short promotional videos about food.
