In Uzhgorod, a child was hit on a crosswalk

As Uzhgorod.in learned from its own sources, tonight in the city center, near the hotel "Uzhgorod", a boy aged around 10-11 years, a 4th grader was hit.

He was hit by a car (reportedly, it was a "Mercedes") right on a crosswalk, to be exact – near the playground. It is unknown whether the driver did not notice the child, or the boy suddenly popped up on the road. The schoolboy was taken by an ambulance, they say, his life is not in danger.

Parents and teachers, in any case, this regrettable incident is an occasion to remind children about road safety rules. And drivers should not forget to be careful.
