In Uzhgorod, there will be the Heaven’s Hundred street instead of Uralska. And the Heroes of the Maidan park

Journalist Vitaliy Hlahola received the reply to his request-suggestion. The appeal to the local government concerned the commemoration of the Heaven’s Hundred and the Heroes of the Maidan by giving appropriate names to a street, a square or a park.

The decision is made: the name of the Heaven’s Hundred will be given to a cozy street in the city center – until now Uralska (the city architecture department and Uzhgorod prosecutors office is located there).And the name of the Heroes of the Maidan shall be given to the park on the corner of Rákóczi and Dovzhenko streets, known as the park at the SSU. Who knows, maybe the fountain there will now be running regularly…
