Uzhgorod students competed in combined heaving events

Yesterday, April 22, at the sports ground of the school № 5, there was the qualifying round of the combined heaving events championship of the city among the city schools.

This traditional for Uzhgorod competition was attended by teams of three schools: the school number 5, the "Harmony", and Uzhgorod Gymnasium, which won the team event.

Participants competed in three categories. Pulling up on the bar – here, all the top three places went to representatives of the gymnasium: Boris Smereka (15 times), Edmond Straton (16) and the winner Victor Sabovchik – 20 times.  In the bench press of 50 kg weight, Oleg Zahrebelny (school № 5) came the third – 23 times, Boris Smereka came the second – 26 times, and the winner was Serhiy Dudynets – 36 times (both from the gymnasium). 

In the most interesting event – armsport – Serhiy Dudynets came the third, a representative of the "Harmony" Denis Shestakov – the second, and the winner was Oleksandr Zahrebelny from the school № 5

Winners received certificates of Uzhgorod Department of Education and use cards for 1, 2 and 3 visits from the "Viper Gym"
