In Uzhgorod, Lenin is planned to be converted to Bachynsky

The decision to dispose of the monument to Lenin in Uzhgorod was approved today at the meeting of Uzhgorod City Council.

Uzhgorod deputies first voted for disposal of the monument back in 2010, but then the decision of the City Council was appealed by the Office of the Prosecutor, the court upheld the appeal.

Since then, the monument has been in storage, and today the decision of its disposal was taken for the second time.

They plan to use the material of the monument to make the monument to Andriy Bachynsky, which is to be established in the city.
