The mother of a 5-year old boy reported to Vynogradiv police department that a 26-year-old resident of the village of Velyki Komiaty had molested her son.
The investigative team was immediately sent at the scene. The police officers found out that the offender was walking in the village, watching the children. Approaching the boy, the man lured him into his home, offering money in the amount of 3 UAH. In his house he stripped the child and began to undress himself, thus scaring the boy. Hearing the boy shouting, his mother came, took him away and immediately called the police.
The investigator of the district police department opened criminal proceedings under Art.156 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of minors).
The man faces restriction of liberty for up to five years, or imprisonment for the same term.
