The Party of Regions resumes its activity in Transcarpathia. After the election of the regional PR leader Oleksandr Ledyda to the political council of the party, the latter began to revive the political force in the region. Recall that on February 20, the PR in Transcarpathia basically disbanded. The Party of Regions faction in the regional council was liquidated, the PR factions in all city and district councils also disbanded.
Last week, Oleksandr Ledyda restored Perechyn and Rakhiv district organizations of the PR. Also the former Governor of Transcarpathia plans to restore the Party of Regions faction in the regional council.Also Ledyda headed the regional campaign headquarters of the presidential candidate Mykhailo Dobkin. Now, the Party of Regions are looking for activists who would contribute to the formation of PECs.
