In Uzhgorod, all outdoor advertising will be counted! By April 25. The relevant document appeared on the website of the City Council.

 To oblige the municipal police department and the municipal economy department to inspect the advertising media located in the city of Uzhgorod – the draft decision, which will be considered at the nearest Executive Committee meeting, states.

Currently the draft decision provides that in case of detection of unauthorized boards they shall be dismantled.

Advertising accounting must be completed by April 25. 

Hopefully, it will be the first step to developing an adequate strategy for the treatment of outdoor advertising, which eventually will lead to fewer "advertising garbage", especially in the historic center.

We expect that the promise to remove the boards on the supporting wall of the Uzh embankment will also be fulfilled, because currently only two have been removed.
