The youngest pupils of the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "PADIYUN" called and welcomed spring. Traditionally in the first week of March, children from the school of early artistic and aesthetic development "Radist" prepare the holiday "Earth rejoices at the sun." This year, almost one hundred pupils aged 4 to 7 years took part in the event. Children praised blooming spring and rejoiced at the sun with singing and dancing.
The celebration, as every year, was held in the form of a theatrical performance – on stage, children in costume of flowers, streams, clouds, sun and sun beams were reciting poems and singing songs.
"These events are very important for us and for our kids. For the youngest ones, it is the responsibility and the process of learning, because kids learn poems, we prepare costumes together, teachers come up with the format of performances, and for parents, it is a great opportunity to escape from everyday problems, from the current situation in the country" – the mother of the "Radist" school pupil Mrs. Irina said.
