Responding to the question of Uzhgorod.in on the need for coordination of candidates for the police chief with the public, Serhiy Sharanych – the newly appointed Acting Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region – said that he was willing to go through the lustration.
Our publication reminded the police officer of the minister Avakov’s position, who apologized for the ill personnel decision regarding the appointment of Turday and said that from now on all appointments would be carried out in consultation with the community. Mr. Sharanych said that it is precisely for this reason that he had been appointed as the acting head to go through the lustration.
So, now the community and obviously the lustration committee should express their opinion.
