Transcarpathian carriers are outraged by the dominance of "illegals" on their market. Because of that, they even asked the deputies from Transcarpathia "to take immediate measures to ensure legality in the provision of passenger road transportation services in Transcarpathian region."
Surprisingly promptly, the Member of Parliament Ivan Bushko responded to the request and sent the deputy’s appeal to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Pshonka, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Kozak and all other governmental agencies which deal with passenger services. In particular, it refers to the panel of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, held in December 2013, which dealt with the prospects for the solution of problems of domestic passenger road transportation and a possible cover-up of illegal carriers acrivities by the Ukrtransinspectorate in Transcarpathian region.
In view of the above, the Member of Parliament appealed to the Prosecutor General and the relevant minister to audit the activity of the Ukrtransinspectorate in Transcarpathian region, the deputy’s press office reported.
