In Uzhgorod, houses with icicles hanging from roofs and balconies are almost on every street. They "occupied" shops and beauty salons, coffee shops and even schools.
Our correspondent walked main streets of the city and was unpleasantly surprised – staff and management of offices do nothing about the standard winter problem. And icicles may fall at any moment.
Last night, we even made comments about the danger on S. Petofi square, but we have not been heard – in the morning, everything remained as before. It’s about the economic high school (former school number 9).
However, given the current weather conditions, passers-by should be afraid of not only icicles, but also heavy snow that has also "settled" on the roofes and is about to fall on the ground (for example in one of the establishments on Korzo street).
Therefore, be careful, look not only at your feet, but up too, and even better, do not walk under rooftops in the winter!
