Transcarpathian traffic police warns: be careful because of snow!

Over the next two days heavy snow, slush build-up, sleet on the roads is expected in the region.

As of the morning January 25, 50 units of snow-cleaning equipment are engaged in the region, including 8 on the passes of national roads. Units of traffic police are deployed close to dangerous areas for rapid response to severe weather conditions and to assist road users.

Dear drivers, be most careful and cautious on the roads of the region. Follow the speed limit, which corresponds to the environment and safe distance. Due to the limited visibility, use dipped headlights. For your safety and that of others – strictly follow the Traffic Rules! – Traffic Police Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region calls.
