A German national, who was returning home through the checkpoint "Tisa", "left" in Ukraine his car, currency and cigarettes which were hidden in a cache of the vehicle.
The man was heading to Hungary through the simplified control lane "green corridor". However, during the border and customs clearance, border guards decided to carry out an in-depth examination and complete identification of his AUDI together with representatives of Customs.
As a result of the inspection, police officers found four types of cigarettes in amount of 35 packs, as well as foreign currency amounting to 7,000 (seven thousand) euros hidden from the border and customs control. The said items were in a specially made cache in the luggage compartment of the car.
The cigarettes, the currency and the car was seized according to the law and estimated at 90,000 UAH.
