On Sunday, a tragedy occurred in the village of Deshkovytsya in Irshava district. A 34-year-old woman found on the second floor of the house the corpse of her 49-year-old husband – he had a gunshot wound in the right temple.
It was established that the man could have committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a gun, which was on the floor near the body of the deceased.
During the inspection of the house, police officers found at the scene an unregistered gun made in Germany, possibly of pre-war years (the model and the year of manufacture have not been established), which the shot had been made from. Police officers found a magazine for this gun, a bullet casing with marking, a bullet in the wall of the room, antidepressant medications, a psychiatrist’s certificate, a mobile phone "Nokia".
It was also established that over the recent period of time, the man had often visited private sessions at psychiatrist’s and had been taking antidepressant medications due to psychological depression.
