Avalanche hazard remains in Transcarpathia.
According to the Transcarpathian Centre for Hydrometeorology, yesterday in the highlands of the eastern part of Transcarpathian region, there was thawing, at night there was a little sleet.
Snow cover mostly remains in the northern, northeastern slopes.
During two days, in the highlands of the eastern part of the region, there may be small avalanches under significant additional load.
In this regard, the Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region asks tourists to refrain from hiking in the mountains until the improvement of the synoptic situation and to heed the advice of rescuers.
