Nearly 6 million hryvnias will be spent for building of the Transcarpathian Regional Council and the Regional State Administration

5,973,600 UAH will be spent in 2014 for the building of the Transcarpathian Regional Council and the Regional State Administration (Narodna sq., 4).

The corresponding decision was adopred by the regional deputies today, December 27.

As stated in the document, 1.5 million hryvnias will be spent on restoration of the project of internal utilities in the administrative building. It has not yet been reported whether this item of funding includes the so-called scandalous reconstruction of Narodna Square.

Also, deputies of the Transcarpathian Regional Council at the meeting adopted or made changes to a number of programs that distribute funds from the state, regional and local budgets in the coming year.

In particular, they adopted the program "Care", on which 8,930,400 UAH will be spent in 2014. This money will be used to provide financial aid to poor people affected by natural disasters, retired writers, persons who turned 100 years old. Overall, the program includes 25 items.

763,000 UAH are provided for NGOs, veterans and liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster consequences

553,000 UAH from the regional budget are provided for the "Program of the development and implementation of urban planning cadastre in Transcarpathian region for 2014-2018"
