The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine ordered the New Year and Christmas holidays to be days off. The government passed a resolution to transfer days off from 1 to 7 of January.
"It was decided to transfer a number of days off, in order to make the period from 1 to 7 of January inclusive a continuous week off," – the Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Lydia Drozdov said.
The decision to transfer days off was passed in order to ensure the rational use of working time on the one hand and on the other hand, at the request of the people who work in companies.
Drozdova said that the working day of January 2 is transferred to Saturday, January 11, January 3 – to Saturday, January 25, and January 6 – to Saturday, February 8.
