According to the head of the Main Office of the Ministry of income in the region, in total, since the beginning of the year, Transcarpathian payers have been refunded more than 385 million hryvnias. More than 133 million have been refunded automatically.
This, in particular, was discussed at the press conference dedicated to the one year anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of income and taxes (the President of Ukraine signed the Decree on December 24, 2012).
The meeting was attended by Vasyl Ivancho – the Head of the Main Office of the Ministry of income in Transcarpathian region, Serhiy Kharchenko – the Head of the Chop customs and Igor Kolomiytsev – the Deputy Head, Head of the Financial Investigation Department of Investigation of the Main Office of the Ministry of income in Transcarpathian region. Oleksandr Klimenko – the Minister of income and taxes Ukraine – took part in the press conference from Kyiv in a video mode.
According to the Head of the Main Office of the Ministry of income in Transcarpathian region, in total, since the beginning of the year, Transcarpathian payers have been refunded more than 385 million hryvnias. More than 133 million have been refunded automatically. Starting from 2014, taxpayers that meet a number of criteria will be granted the status of a taxpayer with a positive tax history. For such companies the VAT refund process will be faster and easier.
Serhiy Kharchenko, the Head of the Chop customs said that the percentage of customs declarations submitted electronically is 92.5 %, which is 14.2 % more than that during 2012. Also in May 2013, the Chop customs issued 366 declarations of an EA type. For comparison, in 2012, only 1 such declaration was issued.
– I believe that these results suggest that the reforms that have been carried out after the establishment of the Ministry of income and taxes have justified themselves – the Head of the Chop
customs said.
