The regional pigeon exhibition has been held in Uzhgorod for the fifth time, the Zelene Zakatpattya informs. Its organizers, and at the same time, the participants are members of the Transcarpathian pigeon breeders club.
On the first day of the event, 27 pigeon breeders presented to the audience more than 40 species of birds. All rare and not so rare representatives of these bird species were exhibited on the two stories of the "Juventus". On the first day of the exhibition, there was not a lot of people, but today organizers promise a "full house" – on the second day of the event, you can not only see, but also buy any bird you like.
By the way, not only pigeons are exhibited there: on the ground floor of the exhibition space, there are interesting breeds of European chickens from the farm of a resident of Uzhgorod Vasyl Polonchak. This year, Vasyl Polonchak showed at the exhibition 8 out of 20 chicken breeds available on his farm. And also 10 species of pigeon and a couple of ornamental mandarin ducks.
