In Mukachevo district, a man robbed his own sister

Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of Mukachevo Police arrested  a man who had robbed his sister.50-year-old man stole his sister’s grinding machine, which he sold the next day, and spent the money for alcohol.

A resident of a village in ​​Mukachevo district Hanna appealed to law enforcement officers. A grinding machine had disappeared from her house, the woman suspected her brother of the theft. He is unemployed, abuses alcohol and recently became homeless, after his wife and children had driven him out of the house.

Investigators conducted necessary checks and concluded that the theft had been committed by the victim’s good-for-nothing brother. Soon, the thief confessed to the crime himself.     

The thief sold the grinding machine, which cost about 1,500 UAH, for 300 UAH which he spend for alcohol.

Investigators of the city police opened a criminal proceeding over this fact under Art.185 of Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (burglary).
