Vehicle production in Ukraine decreased by 40%

During 11 months of 2013, Ukraine has produced 44.062 thousand vehicles, which is 40% less than that for the same period in the last year.

This was announced by the press service of "Ukravtoprom."

"The production of passenger cars has dropped by 39.8% – to 40.118 thousand units, the production of commercial vehicles has dropped by 38% – to 1.831 thousand units, bus production has also declined – by 34.3% – to 2.113 thousand units," – the press service stated.

It is also noted that in November, automakers in Ukraine produced 5.813 thousand units of motor vehicles, which is 2% more than the result of the November 2012.

The production of passenger cars increased by 1% compared to November 2012, and by 6% compared to October of this year and amounted to 5200 cars.

The production of commercial vehicles increased by 29% as compared to the same figure in 2012, as well as to the result of the previous month of the year. The November output of commercial vehicles amounted to 280 units.
