Electronic railway tickets are available for another ten night trains

The Ukrainian Railways have increased the number of night trains which can be boarded with electronic tickets. They can be purchased on the official website of the UZ booking.uz.gov.ua, and these e-tickets can be printed out by the passengers and do not require to collect travel documents at the box office. This was reported by the press center of the company.

Starting from 15:00 November 29, 2013, passengers can buy e-tickets for trains № 20/19 Lugansk – Kyiv, № 83/84 Mariupol – Kyiv, № 25/26, Lviv – Odessa, № 43/44 Ivano-Frankivsk – Kyiv, № 111/112 Kharkiv – Lviv, № 49/50 Kyiv – Truskavec, № 81/82 Kyiv – Uzhgorod, № 28/27 Kyiv – Sevastopol, № 102/101 Kyiv – Kherson and № 81/82 Kharkiv – Simferopol.

Electronic tickets can be purchased until one hour before the departure of the train from the first station of the route.

Tickets for these trains, purchased via the internet until 15.00 November 29, need to be collected at the box office, the company reminds.

Passengers can read the text instructions on the purchase of electronic tickets on the site of the Ukrainian Railways. The video instructsion is available on the company’s YouTube-channel.

  

By the end of next week, the UZ plans to introduce e-tickets for another four trains: № 40/39 Kyiv – Sevastopol, № 146/145 Kyiv – Simferopol, № 72/71 Kyiv – Zaporizhzhya and № 120/119 Lviv – Zaporizhzhya.

By the end of 2013, this service will be available for 80 domestic trains.

  

In addition to Intercity+ trains, e-tickets for night trains have been introduced:

  • Number 37/38 Donetsk – Kyiv (from May 18, 2013),
  • Number 11/12 Simferopol – Kyiv (from October 1, 2013),
  • Number 63/64 Kharkiv – Kyiv (from October 18, 2013)
  • Number 91/92 Kyiv – Lviv (from October 29, 2013),
  • Number 106/105 Odessa – Kyiv (from October 30, 2013),
  • Number 79/80 Kyiv – Dnipropentrovsk (from October 31, 2013).
