Pogorelov wants to release the water utility from tax (document)

At the regular session of Uzhgorod City Council, the city authorities will propose to release the city water utility from land tax in 2014. The appropriate statement came from the utility company "Production department of water and sewerage service of Uzhgorod." It refers to exemption from tax on the land of ​​nearly 3.5 acres in area. The company plans to spend the saved money to pay off existing debts.

This week uzhgorod.in already reported that at the next session of Uzhgorod city council, the mayor Pogorelov would suggest the deputies to save the city water utility from bankruptcy by providing a loan in amount of half a million hryvnia for one year in one of the commercial banks. In the explanation to the decision, it is stated that the loan should be taken to ensure settlements with suppliers and timely payment of wages and taxes.
