In Ukraine, more apartments are sold than leased. This is reported by analysts of the ads site Slando, having examined the real estate market in all regions of the country.
As of the end of November, in Ukraine, more than 550,000 apartments were put on sale, about 450,000 of which were in the secondary market. About 400 thousand apartments are for rent. 300 thousand of them are rented for a long term.
The biggest difference in the ratio of rental and sale of apartments is in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr and Khmelnitsky regions. Here, the number of apartments for sale is almost four times more than that of vacant apartments for rent. But Donetsk and Sumy regions stand out from the general trend. Here, there are more offers for rent than for sales.
