In Transcarpathian region, territorial bodies of the Ministry of Income and the office of the Taxpayers Association signed the Memorandum of cooperation

Vasyl Ivancho – the Head of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region, Serhiy Kharchenko – the Head of the Chop customs and Marta Voloshchuk – the head of the Territorial office of the Taxpayers Association in Transcarpathian region signed the Memorandum of partnership and cooperation.

According to Vasyl Ivancho, cooperation with the Taxpayers Association is an effective tool for improving the relationship between income and taxes authorities and taxpayers.

"The signing of this document will promote the interest of taxpayers to provide suggestions for improving tax and customs legislation and practically realizes the intend to implement effective forms of cooperation so that entrepreneurship had the most favorable conditions for its development," – he added.

Joint workshops and other events on topical issues of levying taxes, fees and other mandatory payments, various coordinated measures to improve the culture of taxes, duties and other obligatory payments, creating a positive image of a diligent payer and introduction of the ideology of partnership between income and taxes authorities and taxpayers are some of the key provisions of the Memorandum.

Ukrainian public organization "Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine" was created November 27, 1998. The decision to establish the Territorial office in Transcarpathian region was adopted on March 15, 1999, and on June 23 of that year, the Provisions on TO of ATU in Transcarpathian region was registered. Nearly 400 businesses and individuals are members of the Association, the ATU website informs.
