21 City Council members want to hold an extraordinary session in Uzhgorod (DOCUMENTS)

Members of the City Council asked the mayor with the request to convene an extraordinary session, the agenda of which shall include two items:

1. The consideration of the Uzhgorod City Council members appeal on the support of the European aspirations of the Ukrainian people.

2. The consideration of the Uzhgorod City Council members appeal on the State Treasury blocking payments of local governments.

It is suggested to appeal to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, on behalf of Uzhgorod, with the request "to conduct hearings on the State Treasury blocking payments of local governments; to ensure the participation of the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Minister of Finance and the Head of the State Treasury in the hearings; to provide equal opportunity to participate in the hearings for all willing representatives of local governments." It is also proposed to appeal to the President with the request to sign the Association Agreement with the EU in Vilnius on November 28, and to dismiss the government.

In several cities of Transcarpathia, such as in Rakhiv and Chop, extraordinary sessions have already been held.
