Retail trade turnover in Ukraine has grown by almost 10%

In January-October 2013, retail trade turnover in Ukraine has increased by 9.5% compared to the same period in the last year – up to 718.406 billion hryvnias.

This is stated in the report of the State Statistics service.

According to statistics, the growth occurred in Volyn region – by 12.3%, to 14.226 billion hryvnias, in Sevastopol – by 12.1%, to 8.608 billion hryvnias, in the Crimea – by 12%, to 36.235 billion hryvnias, and also in Zhytomyr – by 11.5%, to 15.786 billion hryvnias, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions – by 11.1%, to 18.573 billion hryvnias.

"Retail trade turnover in Kyiv in January-October 2013 has increased by 10.7% – up to 92.159 billion hryvnias," – the statement says.
