Over the past two weeks, three hardscaping elements in Uzhgorod were dismantled. According to the municipal newspaper, kiosks disappeared from Fedynets and Shvabska streets and from the House of the Way of Life on S. Petofi square.
The reason for removal, the publication reports, was the lack of proper documentation and the following warning of the municipal police.
As explained by the deputy head of the municipal police and law enforcement department of Uzhgorod Oleksandr Lozan, if entrepreneurs do not compromise and disassemble objects themselves, they have to compensate for work of utilities, which dismantle structures, with fines.
The fines, the amount of which is determined by the administrative committee, for illegal installation of kiosks range from 50 to 100 times non-taxable income, and that is, accordingly, from 850 to 1700 UAH.
For the avoidance of misunderstandings, entrepreneurs are urged to agree the appearance of kiosks, prior to their installation, with the department of urban planning complex and land resources.
