Euro may be in danger of extinction within the next decade if France does not continue to pursue economic reforms.
This was stated by the chairman of the investment firm BlackRock Capital Larry Fink, – the "Ekonomichna Pravda" , referring to the "CNBC" reported.
Fink expressed concern about the health of one of the largest economies in Europe at the conference DealBook, organized by the magazine The New York Times, noting the downgrade of France rating by the agency Standard & Poor’s.
"I do not think that in 10 years we will have the euro if we do not have strong France and strong Germany," – he said.
He said that the euro is maintained by the economies of two very powerful countries and the competitiveness of France continues to deteriorate.
Fink also said that he wants the Federal Reserve to begin winding up its asset repurchase program in December, and that he expects that emerging markets will fall by 12-15% in the near future.
