The project of reconstruction of the Transcarpathian Regional Puppet Theater "Bavka" is still at the stage of finalization. Currently, according to the director of the theater Miroslav Petiy, the project is undergoing a series of expert panels.
The client for the project is the regional department of culture. The head of the department Yuriy Hleba noted that at this stage of the project, one of the main challenges is the issue of fire safety. According to him, the rules stipulate that fire water tanks must be set close to the object under the reconstruction.
"The river can not be a source for fire fighting, according to norms and standards of construction, so now together with the city we must solve the problem of determining the location of fire tanks. The time for resolving this issue is largely dependent on the efficiency of the city", – Yuriy Hleba said.
The funding for the reconstruction, according to the head of the regional department of culture, as planned, will be allocated from the regional budget. This year, the session decided to allocate 700,000 UAH for the implementation of the first phase of work. However, it probably will not be used by the year’s end, Yuriy Hleba suggested.
"The documentation is delayed, therefore this year, probably nothing will be done. Only the tendering, maybe". – the head of the Culture Department said.
