Shvabska street without crossing signs – the executive committee is no longer concerned about that

Uzhgorod city council members are no longer concerned about the issue of traffic organization on Schvabska street. The majority voted for the draft resolution, according to which the question is removed from the control.

The Head of Transport, Public Procurement and Communications Department V.Puhachov did not come to the meeting to report, instead the draft decision was read out by the chairman Daniella Gevorgyan.

According to the document, the decision to organize two-way traffic on Shvabska street has been fulfilled, in particular, they have applied road markings.

However, the document states that due to the lack of money the works to install traffic signs have been implemented only partially.

As passers-by can see themselves, there is not a single sign of a pedestrian crossing on the street, only "zebra". If the marking is washed out by rain, pedestrians on Shvabska street in Uzhgorod risk to be hit by a car.
