Counterfeit money were found in Khust district

Yesterday morning, a senior operator of the "Vesta Service" gas station in the village of Steblivka in Khust district reported to Khust City Police that during the count of the money in cash register she had found five counterfeit 50 hryvnia bills with the same number and series without the year of release. According to the woman, she received the notes from an unknown person as payment for fuel. Law enforcement officers seized the notes produced by means of photocopying and sent them to the forensic research center at the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for examination. The criminal proceeding has been initiated.
