The UC initiates dismissal of Pogorelov due to school riot

Regarding the situation around the school riot and the cancellation of the holidays, the press service of the United Center made and distributed the following statement:

Statement

The United Center faction in Uzhgorod City Council initiates the dismissal of the mayor V.Pogorelov. We believe that the politician who fights with children may not represent the community.

We would like to emphasize that the rally near the city council, initiated by students and their parents, was the result of the mindless government’s decision to cancel the school holidays. Saving at children’s expense is something that is unacceptable in a European democratic country.

We call on the representatives of all political parties represented in Uzhgorod city council to support our initiative and to protect schoolchildren from arbitrary decisions ща local authorities.
