The stuff of Uzhgorod National University is concerned with the situation that has been going on in the last calendar month: despite a sufficient amount of money on university accounts, the General Directorate of State Treasury Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region has been delaying transfer of money for salaries totaling 1,172,614.34 UAH since October 9.
The management of the university has repeatedly sent letters on this issue to the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Treasury of Ukraine and its main office in our region asking to assist in resolving it. But even now the issue is not closed.
The management of the university expressed concern about this at the meeting of the AcademicCouncil on October 17 this year, and its members supported tem. The largest labor group in the
region really needs the attention of public authorities – the Media Center of UzhNU reported.
