September 22, around 18:25, at the 400th km of the road Mukachevo-Rakhiv-Bohorodchany-Ivano-Frankivsk-Rohatyn-Bibrka-Lviv in Mukachevo district of Transcarpathian region, a 60-year-old driver of the car "VOLKSWAGEN T4 LNG", moving towards the city of Mukachevo, hit a pedestrian and then drove down the left ditch and overturned. As a result of the accident, the pedestrian, the driver and eight passengers of the "VOLKSWAGEN T4 LNG" received injuries of varying degrees of severity. Nine persons were taken to Mukachevo district hospital and a 2-year-old girl, a resident of Odesa region was delivered to the Transcarpathian Regional Children’s Hospital.
The pedestrian died in the intensive care unit of the hospital from his injuries – the Traffic Police Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region reported.
