On Thursday, September 19, in the reading room of the Transcarpathian Regional Library, there was the announcement and awarding of winners of the literary award "Debut of 2012".
According to the jury chairman Prof. Serhiy Fedaka, in the poetry category the opinion of the jury was unanimous and the prize was unanimously awarded to Mariana Shutko. As for the prose genre, here the opinion was unanimous, after all Transcarpathian writers decided to divide the prize between two winners – Nataliya Durunda and Yulia Tarasyuk.
The chairman of the Organizing Committee Andriy Serbaylo presented the winners diplomas, prizes and flowers. He said that this year the awarding of young Transcarpathian writers took place for the sixth time, and then suggested the library director Lyudmila Hryhash to make a stand where the works of all winners of the "Debut" would be presented.
After the official part, the winners were able to talk in an informal setting with guests and treat them to an exclusive cake and champagne.
