At the regular meeting of the Executive Committee of Uzhgorod City Council, they will again consider the issue "On outdoor advertising." The appropriate draft decision of the executive committee proposes to approve the installation of 144 new advertisements on the streets of the city.
As of yet, neither the order to hold a regular meeting of the Executive Committee, nor the agenda has not been published on the official site of Uzhgorod City Council. But they have published draft decisions of the executive committee to be considered at the meeting on September 18. Among them, there is the draft decision "On the outdoor advertising."
It proposes the Executive Committee to approve permits for the placement of over a hundred billboards measuring 1.6 m by 0.8 m on the outdoor lighting poles. The billboards, according to the draft decision, are to be placed on the side of the pedestrian zone.
If the appropriate decision is approved, billboards will appear on the following streets: Hrushevsky, Mytna, Gagarin, Stantsiyna, Mynaiska, Babiak, Ankudinov, Kapushanska, Mukachivska, Krasnodontsi, as well as on Svoboda Avenue, on Bohdan Khmelnytsky square and at the intersection of Lehotsky-Zankovetska streets.
