Today at 11.00, at the Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theater in Uzhgorod the traditional fair of tourism brands and products "Toureurocenter Transcarpathia 2013" has officially opened.
The forum, the participants of which have set their display stands in the theater lobbies, as well as on the square in front of it and along Kyiv embankment, has been held in our region each year, traditionally in autumn.
The fair, which is held in the "Expo" format and provides for business meetings, exchange of experience and conference, has brought together not only travel agencies, hotels, green houses from all districts of Transcarpathia, but also participants from neighboring Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary.
The exhibition features traditional products of the Carpathians, such as wine, honey, mineral water, handicrafts, performance of folk groups.
The fair was opened by the Acting Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Igor Svyshcho, the Deputy Head of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Andriy Serbaylo and Uzhgorod Mayor Victor Pogorelov. After short speeches they presented awards to the most active figures of the tourism industry of Transcarpathia, and signed a memorandum that provides for measures to prepare the region for Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in 2022 in its territory.
