According to the Transcarpathian Center for Hydrometeorology, on September 9, high (Grade 4) fire hazard is expected on the flat part of the Transcarpathian region, the Regional Office of the State Emergencies Service warns.
In this regard, the Transcarpathian rescuers urge citizens to refrain from the practice of burning of dry vegetation, and adhere strictly to the rules of fire safety in ecosystems.
To note: only during the last day, Transcarpathian firefighters were called more than ten times to extinguish dead wood on fire.
