Since the beginning of the year, 8627 Transcarpathians have declared their income

As a result of this year’s income declaring campaign, citizens have filed to local authorities of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathia tax returns for a total of almost 467 million hryvnias. Also, the citizens have declared almost 44 million hryvnias of taxes from these funds.

Specialists of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income informed that most tax returnes have been filed by citizens in order to receive a tax rebate, also they have declared income derived from inherited property or that received as a gift and from the sale of movable and immovable property. Most tax returns have been filed by residents of Uzhgorod city, Mukachevo and Vynogradiv districts. 

The declaration campaign for the year 2012 began on January 1, 2013 and ended on May 1, 2013. According to Art. 179 Section 179.7 of the Tax Code of Ukraine, individuals must pay the amount of tax liability specified in the filed tax return by August 1, 2013.

Focusing on the expectations of taxpayers, during this year’s declaration campaign, for the first time the Ministry proposed the service of filing of tax returns electronically. To do this, taxpayers have to use the appropriate service on the website of the Ministry, or send a return by email. Such tax documents are formed using a special software and digital signature.
