Uzhgorod resident was robbed by his girlfriend

Recently, municipal police received a call from 50-year-old Ivan, a local resident. The man reported that his cellphone «Nokia», charger to it and 1,000 hryvnias have disappeared from his home under unknown circumstances .

During the search activities precinct inspectors of municipal police found a person involved in this crime. The robber was 28-year-old victim’s girlfriend Olena, a resident of the city. She had not been working for a long time. She said that the lack of money pushed her to the crime. By the way, this case is not the first one in her ‘career’. A few years ago this young lady had already been prosecuted for theft.

– The mentioned event was included in the Unified Register of pre-trial investigations and criminal proceedings were opened for Part 1 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft) punishable by a fine up to tax-free minimum incomes, correctional labor for up to two years, or imprisonment up to three years – according to the first deputy chief of Uzhgorod MD of Internal Affairs Anatoliy Shkyrta – informed Diana Dorohiy, Uzhgorod MD of Internal Affairs.
