On August 23, to celebrate the Independence Day and the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine, in Vynogradiv there were solemn events attended by over 1000 representatives of labor collectives, military and public organizations of the city. The holiday was organized by Vynogradiv district administration.
About three hundred young people took part in the festive parade of embroidered shirts and carried a Ukrainian yellow-blue flag of nearly 100 square meters in area. Later, the flag was attached to balloons and released into the sky to the altitude of seventy meters.
The celebrations culminated with the Youth Bike Ride with yellow and blue banners along central streets of Vynogradiv.
