2490 students have been enrolled to UzhNU for state-funded learning

"It is important for the university to have good students. This year, about 2400 people were applying to UzhNU. This is 500 more than in the last year" – Fedir Vashchuk, the Rector of UzhNU said summing up the admissions campaign.

"The increase is associated with the merger with TSU, the inclusion of the college and the increase of the order for information technology, engineering and science majors, as well as opening new specialties, such as public administration. 2,390 of them have been enrolled. "Vacant" 5 seats of physics teachers (there is no demand for them in the region) and several seats in the engineering faculty will be replaced with some other majors" – Vashchuk said.   

He also said that the university ranking in the national list had increased by 15 positions.  The fee for the second or third higher education has been significantly lowered, up to four times, to improve the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market.
