Uzhgorod prosecutors check the construction near the market on Zankovetska street

The Prosecutor’s Office of Uzhgorod has initiated the check over fact of the construction on Zankovetska – Bestuzheva streets, near the market.

   It was preceded by Uzhgorod residents’ appeal to the prosecutors of the city through publication on a regional Internet site with a request to find out whether the construction of the foundation near the market on Zankovetska street is legal. In particular, residents complain about the illegality of the construction of the foundation on the land due to the lack of relevant information panel about the construction and they are dissatisfied with the fact that the construction of the foundation deprived the owners of vehicles of appropriate conditions for parking.

  Therefore, the prosecutor’s office of Uzhgorod, according to Art. 6 of the Law of Ukraine "On state control over land use and protection", ordered the State Agriculture Inspectorate in Transcarpathian region to check the arguments contained in the publication and take necessary comprehensive measures. The progress of the inspection is taken by the prosecutors under control and its results will be made availabe to the public.
